Sales Rep - Packaging Solutions

The Sales Rep - Packaging Solutionswill have proven sales experience in the packaging industry and is interested in going to the next level. This position will be responsible for creating, developing, and driving sales within the following target markets: Produce Re-Packers, Food Processors and Distribution Accounts.

Responsibilities: Promote new products and increase current product penetration within existing customer base Lead generation and cold calling prospects Sell into existing accounts value-added products: custom print packaging, industrial bags, high end flexible packaging, clamshells, corrugated, packaging machinery, labels, RPC labels, soaker pads, stretch wrap, etc. Take all “walk in” customers, answer questions and evaluate opportunities Provide timely and accurate sales forecast to operational team to ensure inventory levels are up-to-date Evaluate pricing every quarter to ensure and protect margins Participate in industry association functions, includingattendance at industry trade shows to promote products Work with management to develop independent distributor and sales representative relationships Identify public relations opportunities Work with management to develop marketing communications, including marketing collateral, promotional items, direct mail and websites Assist in the development of new designs and projects, along with continued product improvement Work with outside vendors on new materials and new innovative produce packaging solutions

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Bachelor's degree in Professional Selling, Marketing or Business preferred 3-5 years of outside sales experience; preferably selling packaging and labels in the produce industry Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers and outside parties Exceptional analytical, organizational and communication skills Effectively use Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel Significant travel is required (60%+), including overnight stays Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Cool Pak's salary range is $90-120k plus future commission eligibility based on experience, education, and geographic location.
