Driver/Pantry Assistant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Pick up food daily from local vendors Record, weigh, and log temperatures of donated items Assist in receiving, unloading, shelving, and keeping inventory of food Sort and distribute donated bread, sweets, chips, and other food items while keeping appropriate records Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle Become food safety trained as required through the Cleveland Food Bank Record in-kind donations received through pantry/warehouse Represent the ideals and integrity of The Salvation Army in the highest possible ethical and moral business conduct Other miscellaneous duties as required Minimum Education and/or Experience Minimum High School Diploma Special Skills, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Must have a valid driver's license Background check is required through the Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation (BCII)The Salvation Army Mission Statement The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church.
