About the role

About HIFIHIFI is a stablecoin infrastructure company building technology for the next-generation of financial products. We build tools for payments and tokenized money products across money movement, cards, and capital markets. Institutions and enterprises already use our platform and APIs to move billions of dollars in production environments around the world, and we are still early. Founded in 2022, our organization is flat and our team is talent dense. We work in person at our office in Flatiron and are intentional about who we work with. We've raised $37 million from world-class investors, including a Series A led by Left Lane Capital.
About the Team: The Talent team is responsible for hiring at HIFI. Following its Series A, HIFI is growing quickly, and the talent team is building out every part of the company, from engineering and compliance to partnerships and operations. The team looks for people who can do excellent work in a fast-moving, regulated space, and it cares about running a process that's rigorous, fast, and respectful of candidates' time. As a Recruiter at HIFI, you'll own searches end to end: working with hiring managers to scope roles, sourcing candidates directly, running interview processes, and closing offers. You'll work closely with the founders on HIFI's most important hires and help build the processes and tools the company needs to keep hiring well as the team scales.
Responsibilities: Run full-cycle searches across engineering, compliance, partnerships, and operations, from scoping the role with the hiring manager through offer and close. Source candidates directly, with a focus on people who aren't actively looking, and build pipelines for roles HIFI will need to fill as it grows. Manage the candidate experience from first outreach to signed offer, keeping the process fast, organized, and clear about where things stand. Partner with the founders and hiring managers to define what a strong hire looks like for each role, and design interview loops that test for it. Prepare offers and manage closing conversations, including compensation, equity, and competing offers. Own HIFI's applicant tracking system and recruiting data, and report on pipeline health, time to hire, and offer acceptance rates. Help build HIFI's employer brand through job posts, outreach, and a presence in the fintech and crypto talent communities. Improve hiring processes as the team scales, including interviewer training, structured feedback, and onboarding handoffs. You might be a fit if 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally at a high-growth startup or in-house at a fintech, crypto, or financial services company. Track record of hiring for technical roles, plus experience recruiting for at least one of compliance, partnerships, sales, or operations. Strong sourcing skills, with a history of finding and closing candidates who weren't actively looking. Experience managing several searches at once without letting candidates or hiring managers go without updates. Comfortable running offer and closing conversations, including compensation, equity, and competing offers. Hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever) and using recruiting data to improve the process. Good judgment about candidates, and willing to push back on hiring managers when a role is poorly scoped or a candidate isn't the right fit. Clear, direct writer, both in outreach and in internal communication. Comfortable in an early-stage environment where processes are still being built and priorities shift as the company grows. Why This Role Matters The people HIFI hires over the next few years will determine what the company becomes. This role will shape who joins after the Series A, how the team grows, and what hiring at HIFI looks like as the company scales. Additional Requirement Must be within a commutable distance from our office and able to work in person most days of the week. Equal Opportunity StatementHIFI is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. We also provide reasonable accommodations during the hiring process.
