Job Description
Furniture Designer Overview:
The Furniture Designer will lead luxury furniture projects from concept to production.
Collaborate with clients to create innovative and functional furniture designs.
Ensure material selection aligns with project aesthetics and quality standards.
Work within a hybrid environment, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities.
Utilize advanced design software to produce detailed plans and renderings.
Coordinate with production teams to ensure accurate fabrication of designs.
Maintain awareness of trends in luxury furniture and interior design.
Provide expertise in material and fabric selection for high-end projects.
Furniture Designer Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Develop and present furniture concepts tailored to client specifications.
Oversee the entire design process, from initial concept to final production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and success.
Select and source premium materials for luxury furniture designs.
Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for production teams. Ensure adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
Conduct quality checks during the production phase to uphold design integrity.
Stay updated on industry trends and integrate innovative design practices.
Furniture Designer Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Art in Interior Design or related field required.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in furniture or interior design.
Preferred 8 years of experience with luxury furniture projects.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
Strong understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, and production processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for client and team interactions.
