Job Description: Catalyx is seeking an L2 Lab Technician with a strong ITbackground to provide technical support for laboratory systems, equipment, software, and users. This role will focus on keeping laboratory technologyreliable and operational, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and hands-onsupport in the lab rather than manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities: Provide L2 technical support for laboratory ITsystems, equipment, and applications. Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and system issues within the lab. Support laboratory instruments and theirconnections to computers, networks, and other systems. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshootlab-related technology. Work directly with laboratory users to diagnoseand resolve technical issues. Assist with user accounts, system access, software, and endpoint support as needed. Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, configurations, and resolutions. Collaborate with laboratory, IT, engineering, and other technical teams. Escalate complex technical issues and assistwith root-cause analysis.
Requirements: 2+ years of IT support or technical supportexperience. Strong hands-on experience withIT systems, hardware, software, and troubleshooting. Experience supporting technology within alaboratory, research, or scientific environment preferred. Familiarity with computers, networks, connectivity, and laboratory equipment. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work directly with laboratory usersand technical teams. Strong communication and documentation skills. Comfortable working in an L2 support capacityand handling issues independently.
