I’m currently supporting a specialist forensic consulting firm in the search for an experienced ACTAR-certified Accident Reconstruction Expert to lead complex investigations within a defined geographic region. About the Role:
This opportunity is suited to an experienced reconstructionist seeking a senior, technically focused role combining expert testimony, case leadership, mentoring, and forensic analysis. The successful individual will serve as a lead forensic expert on matters involving vehicle collisions, commercial trucking incidents, pedestrian and bicycle accidents, and other dynamic events, while working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically defensible opinions.
Responsibilities:
Lead accident reconstruction investigations involving passenger vehicles, trucking, pedestrian, bicycle, and other complex dynamic events Perform collision analysis including speed determination, impact severity, vehicle dynamics, and event sequencing Conduct site inspections, vehicle inspections, and evidence evaluations Analyse EDR data, video evidence, photographs, and physical evidence Prepare technically robust expert reports and opinions Provide deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial testimony Mentor junior reconstruction staff and contribute to technical quality and regional growth
Qualifications:
ACTAR certification required Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Demonstrated accident reconstruction experience Prior deposition and/or trial testimony experience Strong technical writing and communication skills
Required Skills:

Preferred Skills:
