About the role

Material Control Associate Material Control Associate will assist the materials team in maintaining accurate and sufficient inventory through the receiving, production reporting, and cycle counting processes. The Material Control Associate works directly with Materials & Purchasing Supervisor and Inventory Supervisor to ensure all day to day functions are completed on time. Material Control Associate will assist in maintaining team focus on the core responsibilities of the materials team: Accurately enter receipts Accurately enter production reporting, paste/resin logs Cycle counts materials to maintain accurate inventory Investigate material shortages/overages Assist in correcting BOM issues Assist with kitting improvement Assist with continuous improvement in the department (Kaizen, Lean Mfg.)Follow inspection process with the Quality Team as required Assist with safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Education/ Skills/ Experience: High school diploma or equivalency required. Associates Degree in Business or equivalency a plus. Minimum of one to three years' experience in warehouse and materials with emphasis on inventory control, cycle counting, receiving processes. Ability to interpret and accurately fill out paperwork Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills Basic computer skills required Must be able to work independently Good attendance required
