About the role

Overview: In this role you will manage global accounts receivable and credit risk within a fast-growing finance team. You'll apply data-driven analysis to optimize collections, disputes, and cash flow while maintaining accurate records and supporting audits. You will collaborate with Billing, Sales, Legal, and Customer Success to resolve issues and drive process improvements. This position offers cross-functional impact and opportunities to contribute to strategic collections initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain customer aging reports and collections activities
  • Escalate high-risk accounts and disputes to the Senior Collections Manager
  • Research and resolve past-due invoices and discrepancies promptly
  • Reconcile customer accounts including invoices, credit memos, unapplied cash, and overpayments
  • Advise customers on payment arrangements and resolution strategies
  • Respond to inquiries related to invoices, disputes, and payment status
  • Maintain complete records of collection efforts and communications
  • Generate AR reporting, support audits, and perform variance analysis
  • Conduct credit evaluations using Dun & Bradstreet and summarize findings with recommendations
  • Collaborate with Billing, Sales, Legal, and Customer Success to resolve account issues
  • Suggest and implement continuous improvements to credit and collections processes
  • Provide backup coverage and coordinate with other analysts across the global team
Key requirements:
  • Strong understanding of collections processes, AR reconciliation, and credit risk assessment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas) and strong analytical capabilities
  • Proficient in Word, Outlook, and Office 365 Quick learner with ability to adapt to new systems and changing priorities
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently within a team
Preferred: experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite and CRM platforms such as Salesforce Prior experience supporting collections during mergers and acquisitions (M&A) including AR integration Experience mentoring or guiding junior Collections Analysts Experience in multi-currency, multi-region collections environments and international payment practices Collaborativedetail-orientedproactive Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) Microsoft Office 365 applications NetSuite
