Estimator

Responsibilities: Manage 5–10+ active quoting opportunities at a time Review drawings, dimensions, materials, fabrication requirements, and customer specifications Build technical estimates and quotes for custom-fabricated tanks Work directly with customers to gather missing information and understand their applications Follow up on existing and inbound opportunities and develop customer relationships Work with internal engineering/manufacturing teams to determine project requirements Occasionally visit customers throughout Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin

Requirements: 2+ years of technical sales, estimating, or project-based manufacturing experience Ability to read technical drawings and specifications Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of custom-fabricated products Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills Metal fabrication, welding, tanks, or pressure vessel experience is a plusASME, API, UL, or similar code knowledge is a plus This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of manufacturing but also wants to build customer relationships and grow into sales.
