Utility Locator Technician and Leak Detection Locator

Great candidates are likely to be Mechanically inclined. Comfortable with learning and using new technology. Enjoy working outside, in a variety of conditions, and not sitting in a cube or office every day. Able to perform intermittent, sometimes heavy, physical labor. Utility location experience preferred not required. We enjoy developing our people and providing comprehensive training in state-of-the-art methods and techniques using the best in equipment.

Key responsibilities include: Leak detection on municipal and private water systems. Perform underground utility location. Provide accurate and clear communications with management, colleagues, and customers. Provide professional courteous customer service in the field. Work with team members and independently as required.

Desired Qualifications: Enjoy being in a job that rewards intuitive, hardworking, fast, efficient, people who have no problem wearing a uniform, and with a keen eye for detail. Any plumbing, mechanical, electronics experience and construction background is a big plus. Exceptional team player; fun, energetic, goal oriented, positive, optimistic, and great attitude. Current Driver’s License with clean driving record. Ability to create well written and concise reports to effectively describe the leak issue. Self-motivated, enjoy working independently, self-starter, organized, and enjoy being self-directed. Neat appearance / Has a high standard of professionalism. Ability to take on physical work and capable of moving/lifting to 100 pounds. Education High School or equivalent / some college education.
