QHSE Manager (Memphis)

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage site HSE programs supporting FT8 gas turbine operations and maintenance. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and client safety standards. Oversee Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, permit-to-work, and hazardous-energy-control programs. Conduct site inspections, safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations. Provide HSE oversight during turbine maintenance, outages, equipment repairs, and startup/shutdown activities. Monitor high-risk activities, including electrical work, confined-space entry, hot work, lifting and rigging, and working at heights. Coordinate contractor safety orientations, compliance, and safe-work practices. Maintain emergency response procedures, safety documentation, and HSE reporting. Partner with operations, maintenance, and project leadership to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

Required Qualifications: 5+ years of HSE/EHS experience in power generation, gas turbines, utilities, oil & gas, or industrial operations. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices. Experience with LOTO, electrical safety, permit-to-work systems, and incident investigations. Experience overseeing contractors, maintenance activities, or equipment outages. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based operational environment. Preferred Experience & CertificationsFT8 or other aero-derivative gas turbine experience. Power plant operations and maintenance or turbine outage experience. Data center or mission-critical power infrastructure experience. Familiarity with MV/HV electrical systems, fuel-gas systems, and rotating equipment. OSHA 30, CSP, ASP, CHST, or equivalent safety certifications. NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, or incident investigation training.
