As an On-Call RN, you will: Collaborate with Remote Triage On Call Team to deliver hands-on care to hospice patients and offer supportive services to their families during after-hours, on an on-call basis Assess and manage urgent symptoms quickly and compassionately Administer medication or adjust care based on hospice protocols or provider orders Communicate with the physician regarding changes in condition and obtain orders as necessary Offer guidance and support to the patient and family in understanding the current condition and anticipating the next steps If a death occurs during on-call hours, the RN will go to the home or facility to pronounce death, provide support to the family, contact the funeral home, and notify the hospice team Complete timely documentation and communication Benefits and perks for you!
