Transit Driver/Operator (CDL Required, P-Endorsement)

Location: Staunton, VA

Reports To: Regional Manager / Operations Supervisor

Schedule: Full-Time

The Role: RMS is hiring dependable CDL drivers with a Passenger Endorsement to provide safe, reliable public transportation to our local community. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring successful completion of DOT screenings; some routes carry minimum-age and insurance-related requirements.

What You'll Do: Safely operate company vehicles to transport clients to scheduled appointments Assist passengers boarding/exiting and operate wheelchair lifts Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections per company policy Maintain accurate trip and mileage records Communicate with dispatch and management as needed Keep vehicles clean and represent RMS professionally

What You'll Need: Valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement (if you do not have your P-endorsement, we will sponsor your training!)Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)Ability to pass DOT drug screen, physical, and background check Must be at least 21 (insurance requirement)
