Manufacturing Associate – Bindery 3rd Shift3rd Shift | Monday–Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Full-Time | Competitive Pay + Overtime Opportunities Build Something You Can Hold in Your HandsAt Sheridan your work doesn't disappear into a spreadsheet—it becomes books, catalogs, and printed materials people use every day. What You'll Do:
  • Feed books/signatures into machine
  • Pack books into cartons
  • Safely move materials/books to and from workstation
  • Perform hand operations as required
  • Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
What We're Looking For: No bindery experience? No problem—we'll train you. We're looking for people who:
  • High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Basic math skills, add subtract, and ability to use a measuring device
  • Basic problem-solving skills
  • Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
  • Can read basic job instructions and measurements
  • Take pride in doing quality work
  • Show up reliably and work well with a team
  • It's a plus if you have:
  • One year of previous manufacturing or related experience
  • Print, bindery, or finishing experience
  • Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
  • Physical & Work Environment
  • On your feet for most of the shift
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor
  • Lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
