Senior Medical Device Project/Program Manager
Location: Plymouth, MN
Schedule: Primarily onsite, Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Duration: 1-year contract | Potential for conversion to direct-hire
Pay:
Up to $80/hr. We are seeking a Senior Medical Device Project/Program Manager to lead cross-functional product development activities within a medical device environment. This role will support the development of electrophysiology and cardiovascular technologies, with an initial focus on the Amulet 360 Fixed Curve Delivery System.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently lead cross-functional product development programs from planning through execution. Drive project schedules, milestones, deliverables, priorities, and overall execution. Partner with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations, Supply Chain, and other functional teams. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies. Develop and maintain detailed project plans usingMS Project. Monitor project progress and adjust plans based on changing priorities and risks. Lead project meetings and keep cross-functional teams aligned toward key milestones. Provide weekly/monthly project updates and present status, risks, and recommendations to leadership. Support project strategy, resource planning, budgets, and broader portfolio discussions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; technical or engineering background preferred. Directmedical device project/program management experience. Proven experience leading cross-functional product development teams. Advanced MS Project skills and experience managing project schedules. Strong risk management, problem-solving, and prioritization skills. Ability to influence and lead without direct authority. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Self-starter who can independently drive projects with limited direction.
Preferred Experience:
Project planning, budgeting, and resource management. Experience monitoring milestones and adjusting project plans. Experience presenting project status and risks to senior leadership or steering committees. Experience within electrophysiology, ablation technology, cardiovascular devices, or related medical device development.#LI-CK1
