Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Platform / Share Point Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise modernization solutions for Federal Government clients. This role combines hands-on development, solution architecture, technical leadership, and client engagement. The ideal candidate can architect scalable Power Platform and Share Point solutions while working directly with Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, Power Pages, Share Point Online, Microsoft 365, Azure, and custom pro-code extensions. You will modernize legacy applications and Share Point environments, lead integrations, establish ALM and Dev Sec Ops practices, and guide solutions through the full delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities: Solution Architecture Design end-to-end solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, Power BI, Share Point Online, Microsoft 365, and Azure Define application, data, content, integration, security, information architecture, and deployment models Produce technical designs, architecture diagrams, implementation roadmaps, and requirements Evaluate low-code and pro-code approaches for scalability, security, maintainability, and complexity Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction to delivery teams Power Platform & Share Point Development Build enterprise Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, and Share Point Online solutions Develop modern Share Point sites, lists, libraries, content types, metadata, navigation, permissions, and collaboration solutions Build custom Share Point solutions using SPFx, React, Type Script, Java Script, Microsoft Graph, and Share Point REST APIsDevelop reusable SPFx web parts, extensions, PCF controls, and custom components Configure Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, process flows, security roles, and environment variables Develop application logic using Power Fx, Java Script, Type Script, Liquid, and C#/.NETIntegrate Power Apps and Power Automate with Share Point lists, libraries, documents, and metadata Automation & Integration Build production workflows using Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps Automate Share Point document, approval, records, notification, and business processes Design and consume REST APIs and custom Power Platform connectors Integrate Power Platform and Share Point with Teams, Exchange, One Drive, SQL Server, Salesforce, ERP/CRM systems, Azure services, and agency systems Develop Azure Functions and custom integration services Use Microsoft Graph and Share Point APIs for Microsoft 365 integrations Implement OAuth 2.0, Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, and service principals Data & Dataverse Architecture Design scalable, normalized Dataverse data models Configure relationships, security roles, field-level security, auditing, and business rules Develop Dataverse plug-ins, custom APIs, and workflow extensions using C#/.NETDesign data architectures spanning Dataverse, Share Point, SQL, and other enterprise systems Lead migrations from Share Point, Excel, SQL Server, file shares, and on-premises systems Ensure data solutions support governance, security, records management, performance, and reporting Share Point & Legacy Modernization Modernize legacy Share Point applications, sites, workflows, and customizations to Share Point Online and Power Platform Migrate Info Path forms and Share Point Designer workflows to Power Apps and Power Automate Modernize classic Share Point sites and customizations Plan and execute content, document, metadata, and permissions migrations Design Share Point information architectures, hub sites, metadata models, and governance Modernize spreadsheets, Access databases, custom. NET applications, and on-premises Share Point solutions Define migration, refactoring, and re-platforming strategies that minimize operational risk Security & Compliance Design solutions aligned with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, FISMA, Section 508, and agency requirements Implement least-privilege access across Share Point, Dataverse, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Azure Design Share Point permissions, sharing, retention, and information protection Configure Entra ID integrations, app registrations, service principals, RBAC, and conditional access Support ATO documentation, security assessments, and remediation Establish DLP policies, Share Point governance, connector governance, environment controls, and Power Platform CoE practices Dev Ops & ALMManage Power Platform ALM across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production Implement CI/CD using Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, Power Platform Build Tools, and Power Platform CLIMaintain source control and deployment processes for Power Platform, SPFx, custom code, and configuration Automate solution packaging, deployment, and environment configuration Establish branching, release, and deployment standards Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering standards Reporting & Analytics Design Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models Develop DAX, Power Query, row-level security, and governed workspaces Integrate Power BI with Share Point, Dataverse, SQL Server, Azure, and enterprise data sources Advise clients on gateways, refresh strategies, security, and report lifecycle management Technical Leadership & Client Engagement Serve as technical lead across Agile delivery teams Mentor developers and conduct code and design reviews Lead requirements workshops, architecture sessions, demos, sprint reviews, and technical briefings Communicate architecture decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to technical teams and government stakeholders Contribute to proposals, SOWs, PWSs, RFQs, RFPs, and solution estimates
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience 8+ years in software engineering, enterprise applications, Microsoft 365, or systems integration 5+ years of hands-on Power Platform and/or Share Point development Strong Share Point Online and Microsoft 365 experience 2+ years as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Lead Developer Experience delivering enterprise solutions from architecture through production
Technical Requirements: Deep expertise with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Pages Strong Share Point Online development experience including sites, lists, libraries, metadata, content types, permissions, and information architecture Hands-on experience with SPFx, React, Type Script, Java Script, Share Point REST APIs, and Microsoft Graph Experience integrating Share Point with Power Apps, Power Automate, Teams, One Drive, and Microsoft 365 Strong knowledge of Power Fx, JSON, Liquid, Java Script, and Type ScriptC#/.NET experience for Dataverse plug-ins, APIs, or custom services Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Key Vault, and Microsoft Entra IDStrong knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, custom connectors, and enterprise integration patterns Experience modernizing legacy Share Point, Info Path, and Share Point Designer solutions Strong knowledge of Power Platform ALM, managed solutions, CI/CD, Azure Dev Ops, or Git Hub Actions Experience designing security and governance across Power Platform, Share Point, Microsoft 365, and Azure Federal Experience Experience supporting Federal Government or highly regulated clients Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, ATO processes, and Section 508 ClearanceU.S. Citizenship required Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
