Location: Westmont, IL
Salary Range:
$140,000 - $160,000 Exceptional candidates ("rockstars") may be considered above the posted range. A growing industry-leading manufacturer is seeking a Confidential Engineering Manager to lead its engineering department and drive excellence across complex structural projects from concept through completion.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and designers
- Oversee engineering calculations, design reviews, and project execution
- Manage engineering workloads, project schedules, and department performance
- Collaborate with Sales, Estimating, Project Management, Production, and Operations teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and best practices
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and strategic business objectives
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of precast/prestressed concrete design experience (10+ preferred)
- Engineering leadership experience within the precast/prestressed concrete industry
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain reciprocity
- Strong knowledge of PCI, ACI, ASCE, and IBC standards
