Lead Software Engineer (Java / Angular) - Contract to Hire - 100% RemoteOptomi, in partnership with a national leader in food supply and distribution, is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to help drive the development of a next-generation routing and fulfillment platform. This individual will guide a team of 8–10 developers and work closely with architects, contractors, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS, and Angular. The ideal candidate will enjoy solving complex business problems, leading from a technical perspective, and mentoring junior engineers while remaining hands-on with the code.
