To ensure product and brand compliance, the remote Quality Specialist - Certifications will manage third-party certification and retailer testing programs, driving compliance readiness across products and sites while coordinating documentation and risk identification.
Key responsibilities:
Support certification compliance initiatives by reviewing products and documentation against certification requirements and coordinating corrective actions
Manage retailer testing activities, including submissions and sample coordination, while analyzing testing results for compliance gaps
Maintain certification and testing records, monitor timelines, and communicate compliance status and risks to stakeholders
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Biological Sciences, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in quality, regulatory affairs, or product development within a regulated industry
Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and applicable food or dietary supplement requirements
Experience with SAP, specification management, or document management systems
Familiarity with FDA regulations and third-party certification programs preferred
