- Transportation Permit Specialist
- Review oversize and overweight permits for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state laws and regulations.
- Assess permit routes and restrictions to ensure safe travel for commercial carriers across the state.
- Provide customer support to commercial carriers regarding permit status, updates, and requirements.
- Utilize permit management and routing software, with data entry and system management responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively within a small, diverse team environment.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of motor carrier registration, transportation logistics, and relevant regulations.
- Employ analytical skills to determine compliance and support decision-making.
- Position is 100% on-site in Nashville, TN.
