Location: New York, NY

Shift: M-F; 9-5Pay Rates:
Travel Weekly Package: $2600/weekly (includes $1855 weekly stipend) Local Hourly Rate: $50-$59/hrPosition Overview We are seeking a skilled, reliable General Ultrasound Technologist to join our collaborative clinical team in an outpatient setting in New York, NY. Joining an established department of three technologists (4th tech on the team), you will perform high-volume diagnostic ultrasound examinations—averaging 12–15 scans per shift—with a primary focus on pelvic, abdominal, and transvaginal imaging (breast imaging is explicitly excluded). Active ARDMS certification and experience with transvaginal and abdominal scanning are required.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing an average of 12–15 diagnostic ultrasound examinations per shift, specifically focusing on pelvic, abdominal, and transvaginal scans (breast imaging is handled separately and explicitly excluded).Greeting and preparing patients, explaining examination procedures, maintaining patient dignity and comfort, and ensuring high clinical safety standards. Reviewing clinical indications and collaborating closely with interpreting radiologists and attending physicians when supplemental views or critical/urgent findings arise. Accurately measuring anatomical structures, recording clinical documentation, and uploading images and technical worksheets into PACS and RIS platforms. Executing daily operational checks, routine quality assurance (QA), and strict probe disinfection/sanitization adhering to infection control guidelines. Required SkillsARMDMS Certification: Active credential required (can be in Vascular, OB/GYN, Abdomen, or general RDMS).Core Modality Proficiency: Proven clinical competency performing pelvic, abdominal, and transvaginal scans. Technical Systems: Hands-on experience navigating PACS and RIS electronic health record systems.
Preferred Skills
Experience: 2+ years of general diagnostic ultrasound experience.
Certifications: Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
