Job Summary: We are looking for an organized Shift Supervisor to oversee operations and assign tasks to staff. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for enforcing health and safety regulations and ensuring that products meet the company's standards. To be successful as a Shift Supervisor you must be able to multitask. A great Shift Supervisor ensures that all tasks are running smoothly and on time, and that end products are of acceptable quality.
Schedule: Training on 1st shift 6am-2:30, moving to 2nd shift with the hours of 3-11:30
Pay Rate: $26+ based on experience
Job Responsibilities: Supervise staff to ensure that tasks are completed on time and in accordance with safety laws Order materials needed for production Evaluate staff performance and provide training where necessary Manage daily schedules, employee shifts Assign duties to employees and oversee their progress Ensure that daily sales/production goals are met Train and integrate new workers Provide guidance and feedback to employees when needed Ensure industry rules and regulations are followed Handle customer and employee complaints Resolve conflicts between employees Maintain inventory accuracy and compliance
Qualifications: Experience working in manufacturing in a managerial role Natural leadership abilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of health and safety protocols Ability to problem-solve Ability to multitask
