Oversee operational, financial, and administrative operations of residential programs
Direct, manage, hire, train, coach, and evaluate program staff
Provide supervision and guidance on Individual Service Plans, Program Specific Treatment Plans, treatment/support plans, and interventions
Complete and oversee intake procedures and initial assessments
Research housing and subsidy opportunities and assist with applications and documentation
Provide outreach and foster relationships among people served, families, friends, and established supports
Resolve problems for staff and people served
Provide policies, directives, leadership, and teamwork support to staff
Ensure timely completion and quality of clinical, recordkeeping, and service/support/action-plan documentation
Ensure compliance with quality, licensing, certification, accreditation, funding-source, and company standards
Develop and manage adherence to program budgets
Ensure collection of program fees and service-delivery data
Represent Vinfen with professional, trade, regulatory, and funding-source organizations
Serve as a resource for staff, families, neighbors, public officials, and other providers
Manage adverse events and ensure corrective actions are implemented and reported
Respond to data collection and reporting requests
Ensure program quality, goal achievement, and quality improvements
Provide on-call backup and on-site support when necessary
Store, administer, document, and dispose of medications according to MAP requirements and applicable regulations
Maintain staff knowledge of human-services issues, trends, and techniques
Ensure maintenance and safety of physical sites
Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred; experience may substitute for education
High School diploma or GED required
Minimum of 3 years' experience in progressively responsible human services functions
At least 2 years of supervisory experience
Experience working with individuals with brain injury preferred
Strong time management, organizational, and writing skills
Must be at least 21 years of age
Current, valid US driver's license held for at least 6 months; other posting section specifies at least one year
Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 2 weeks of employment
Must obtain MAP certification within 150 days of employment
Must obtain Safety Care certification within 90 days of employment
NET certification required
Must pass CORI, reference, national fingerprinting, driving record, and driver's screening background checks
Must maintain adequate insurance and a safe driving record when using a personal vehicle
Knowledge of human services, operations management, advocacy, communication and learning styles, resources, assessment, participatory planning, crisis intervention, decision-making, financial management, documentation requirements, and personal computer applications
Ability to provide leadership and team management, balance competing priorities, make independent judgments, and work professionally and confidentially
Ability to perform physically active duties, assist clients with daily living, and lift at least 25 pounds
