Supporting employee and retiree benefit accounting, the full-time remote Accounting Analyst will prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and conduct variance analysis while working with large datasets to ensure accurate financial information.
Key responsibilities:
Designing, developing, and preparing accurate financial statements and reports
Identifying and researching trends and developments in financial data
Leading special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests while collaborating on process improvements
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience (4 years in a related field)
3 years of work experience in an accounting or financial position
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with employee benefit accounting and AI-enabled tools preferred
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with senior leadership teams
