Senior Solution Engineer, Financial Services

Overview As a Senior Solution Engineer at Snowflake, you will bridge business and technical perspectives to solve complex customer challenges and close large deals. You’ll present Snowflake’s vision to executives and engineers, lead demonstrations and PoCs, and position Snowflake against competitors. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to shape both solutions and messaging. This role offers visibility across customers, partners, and cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, AI-enabled environment. You help redefine how work gets done by combining domain expertise with AI-driven problem solving. Compensation / Benefitsremote workcompetitive compensationtravel ~30%full-timedynamic and innovative culturegrowth opportunities Responsibilities Present Snowflake technology and vision to both executives and technical audiences Conduct hands-on demonstrations and guide customers through PoCs from design to implementation Maintain deep knowledge of competing and complementary technologies and position Snowflake accordingly Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and messaging Support the sales cycle to navigate winning deals and drive close Key requirements 5–7+ years of industry experience with at least 5 years in pre-sales Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences 5+ years of experience building and deploying ML and generative AI solutions in the cloud Proactive curiosity about the AI landscape and ability to act as a technical thought partner Experience using AI code generation tools to boost productivity Broad experience in large-scale Database/Data Warehouse tech, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies (e.g., Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)Hands-on SQL, SQL analytics, and Python Ability to map customer business problems to Snowflake solutions and connect to Snowflake Data Architecture University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields (or equivalent experience); Masters in Data Science or Business Administration is a plus Experience with GSIs (EY, Deloitte, Accenture) is beneficial but not required Willingness to travel ~30%customer-obsessed mindsetstrong presenter to diverse audiencesvisionary and collaborative thinkerSQLPythonML and Generative AI in the cloud
