ASCP - Clinical Laboratory Technician - CLT / MLT

What You'll Be Doing: Execute both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests—covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and additional areas—adhering to established protocols. Evaluate test results for precision, identify and troubleshoot anomalies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments. Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing whenever necessary. Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training to new staff or students, and help maintain high lab quality standards. Ensure a clean and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Education

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health discipline, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation. Certification ExpectationsASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) achieved within the first year of employment. Maintain active certification during your employment.
