Sr. Accountant

Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy. Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, delivering timely and precise financial statements. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, with a focus on construction job cost accounting. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes, ensuring operational accuracy. Collaborate closely with project managers to track job costing, work-in-progress schedules, and conduct variance analyses. Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives, providing critical financial insights. Ensure adherence to industry standards and internal controls to maintain regulatory compliance. Assist in preparing documentation and schedules for internal and external audits. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across accounting functions. Provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level accounting staff to foster team development.
