NSX Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and support VMware AVI (NSX Advanced Load Balancer) solutions Configure virtual services, pools, health monitors, SSL profiles, persistence, and security policies Integrate AVI with NSX, VMware vCenter, and application environments Support NSX-T networking, including logical switches, Tier 0/Tier 1 gateways, and segments Analyze traffic flows and optimize application performance and availability Assist application teams with load balancing requirements, validations, and testing Participate in AVI and NSX upgrades, patches, and lifecycle activitiesv

Firewall Responsibilities: Design, configure, and manage enterprise Firewall multivendor environments (Palo Alto preferred; Cisco ASA/Fortinet acceptable)Implement and maintain firewall security policies, NAT rules, and VPN configurations Support firewall rule reviews, audits, and cleanup activities Troubleshoot firewall related connectivity and security issues Perform firewall software upgrades, patching, and hardware replacements Support PCI, SOX, and security compliance requirements Collaborate closely with Security teams on vulnerability remediation and threat mitigation
