Role: Senior REIT Accountant
Firm: Public REIT
Location: NYC
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage accounts payable, cash positions, partner distributions
- Prepare and maintain accounting ledgers, loan tape, and perform bank reconciliations
- Support investor reporting and distribution models
- Prepare financial reporting packages for various joint ventures
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in an accounting/finance/operations role
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting for funds and management companies
- SEC Reporting experience preferred but not required
- Experience with Yardi/MRI preferred
