Description: American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN with at least 3 years of critical care experience for a 13-week assignment requiring an active AZ or compact RN license. Details 5-bed ICU setting providing care to critically ill patients of all ages Periodic floating to ED, Med/Surg, or Peds during low census periods Provides after-hours recovery care for post-op general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients as needed All shifts available 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours Orientation occurs every two weeks

Requirements: Active AZ or compact RN license required Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required Associate Degree in Nursing required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS PALS, TCAR, and NIHSS certifications must be completed within 6 months of hire if not already held SSN required for consideration

Additional Information: Deliver nursing care to critically ill patients following physician orders, standards of care, and facility policies Work independently to complete patient care assignments across varying conditions and treatments Facility is JCAHO accredited and serves a large rural referral area for the Navajo and Hopi Reservations Shared contractor housing may be available but is not guaranteed and requires an application at least 2 weeks prior to start, with no pets or family permitted Fingerprinting must be completed prior to start as part of the compliance process COVID and flu vaccine exemptions may be accepted with a signed declination form First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID #P-.
