DevOps Support Engineer

Overview In this role you will provide daily operational support for proprietary trading systems within the Market Data Operations team. You will troubleshoot Linux-based environments, deploy and maintain critical applications, and advance automation and infrastructure-as-code practices. You will collaborate with a cross-functional engineering group to adopt the latest technologies and address production issues. This position offers growth across development, platform engineering, testing, and business analysis as you help sustain reliable trading operations. You will be a key link between business and technology during outages, delivering timely communication and impact-driven problem-solving. Responsibilities Provide daily operational support of proprietary trading systems Troubleshoot and support Linux-based systems Deploy and maintain critical applications Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code Support and collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team on new technologies Communicate with business and technology stakeholders during production issues Contribute to a variety of projects aligned with business needs and personal interests Key requirements Experience in application support, operations, Dev Ops, systems administration, or related roles Scripting experience with Bash and Python; drive to automate repetitive tasks Unix/Linux command line proficiency Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate during outages Ability to responsibly integrate AI tools into daily workflowsBS in a technical discipline (preferred)strong communication during incidentsattention to detailcollaboration with cross-functional teamsbash scriptingpython scripting Unix/Linux command line
