Employment Type: TravelWe are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical night-shift position in Colorado. The RN will provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical conditions and post-operative needs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable assessing patients, administering medications, monitoring clinical status, and collaborating with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Assess patients' conditions, monitor vital signs, and identify changes requiring prompt intervention. Develop, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans. Administer medications, IV therapy and prescribed treatments safely. Monitor patients' responses to treatment and communicate concerns to physicians and other healthcare professionals. Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care as applicable to the unit. Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow hospital policies. Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications and discharge instructions. Follow infection prevention, patient safety and quality-of-care standards. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care. Respond appropriately to urgent clinical situations and escalate concerns when necessary.

Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse license valid in the State of Colorado. BLS certification required upon hire. ACLS and PALS certifications required upon hire or within six months, as specified by the employer. Ability to provide safe and effective nursing care in a Medical-Surgical setting.

Preferred Qualifications: Two years of relevant nursing experience. Specialty certification relevant to the assigned clinical area. Strong patient assessment, medication administration, documentation and communication skills. Ability to work night shifts in a hospital environment. Quick-start Medical-Surgical RN needed in Colorado for night shifts beginning November 16, 2026; current Colorado RN license and BLS required, with ACLS and PALS required upon hire or within six months; two years of relevant experience preferred.
