About Kinetic Blocks Kinetic Blocks is a B2B marketplace for commercially licensed, provenance-tracked robot training data, covering egocentric human video, teleoperation recordings and robot execution data. Every dataset is verified against its files and given a KB Quality grade before it is listed, and every delivery comes in LeRobot format with chain-of-custody documentation.
The company was incorporated in Oslo in June 2026 and opened in beta on 1 September with several data vendors under MoU. Kinetic Blocks is a member of NVIDIA Inception.
About the role:
We are hiring our first Chief Marketing Officer. The role is remote and based in the Bay Area, close to the robotics companies and frontier labs we sell to, and it is responsible for the customer list, onboarding, marketing and the newsletter. It is a hands-on position: you would join the current team of four across Oslo, Boston and San Francisco, and build the marketing function as the company grows.
Responsibilities:
Own the full customer list across buyers, sellers and partners.
Run onboarding so that every new account reaches its first listing or its first purchase on the platform.
Build and execute marketing towards robotics companies, frontier labs and data suppliers.
Write and publish the Kinetic Blocks newsletter.
Qualifications:
Experience selling or marketing data, AI infrastructure or robotics products to technical buyers.
Writing strong enough to carry the newsletter personally.
Comfortable working remotely and hands-on in a small team spread across three cities and two continents.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Compensation Salary and equity. The position will be filled as soon as our pre-seed round closes in October, so we want to start conversations now with candidates who can begin shortly after.
