The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the architecture direction, technology standards, and cloud design principles for AI platforms and shared services. This pivotal role demands a leader with deep expertise in Generative AI, enterprise architecture, platform engineering, distributed systems, and scalable cloud architectures on major cloud platforms. The VP will also be instrumental in shaping modernization priorities, representing architecture in senior leadership and governance forums, and ensuring that AI systems are designed with a strong emphasis on security, resiliency, compliance, and long-term scalability. Applicants for this role at The Company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and have 12-17 years of experience in various architecture domains, including AI/ML. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in leading large-scale enterprise initiatives, a strong understanding of AI governance, and expertise in cloud architecture. Key responsibilities include driving the AI system architecture strategy, defining and governing design standards, providing technical leadership, and ensuring compliance with Responsible AI and regulatory expectations. The ideal candidate will have a background in API architecture, microservices, and a strong grasp of DevSecOps and CI/CD concepts. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to influence and mentor teams to improve design quality and the adoption of enterprise AI standards.
