Order Process Technician Kamatics is seeking an Order Process Technician who is responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared and processed to meet customer, production, and quality requirements. This position creates and maintains shop orders, product structures, routings, and material plans while coordinating material purchases and outside processes. The role also provides support to Production and Manufacturing Engineering as needed. Responsibilities:
Create and revise shop orders, ensuring all required information is accurate and meets customer and production requirements. Create and maintain product structures, manufacturing routings, and material plans. Plan materials to support production schedules and requirements. Purchase required materials and coordinate outside processing activities. Maintain the label database and ensure information remains accurate and current. Perform limited editing of production drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to support production requirements, process improvements, productivity, quality, and customer requirements. Provide support to Production and Manufacturing Engineering as needed. Identify and recommend opportunities to improve work processes, efficiency, and quality. Participate in 5S activities and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations and report safety incidents to the appropriate supervisor. Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment. Participate in training and cross-training activities as required. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to accurately create and maintain manufacturing documentation and production-related to organize and prioritize work to support production schedules and customer requirements. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to communicate and work effectively with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and other cross-functional teams. Basic computer skills and ability to learn manufacturing systems and to read and understand production-related to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. CAD experience or familiarity preferred based on the drawing-editing responsibilities of the position.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Frequent walking and standing. Occasional sitting.
