Security Officer Patrol Observation

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.72 - $18.72 / Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 04:30 PM - 11:30 PMFri 04:30 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do: Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter. Observe and report security-related concerns, suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate store personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site procedures. Assist with access control, crowd management, and customer directions during normal operations, busy periods, and special events.

Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
