About the role

Role and Objectives: Senior Scientist in Process Development leading cell-based drug process studies for diabetes treatment. Objectives: develop and optimize robust manufacturing processes, lead and train weekend shift team, and support process characterization and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities: design experiments, manage pluripotent stem cell culture and bioreactor processes, oversee process robustness studies, document data, analyze results, and collaborate across teams to meet program goals.
Requirements: BS in Biochemistry, Engineering, Biology, or related field with 8+ years of industry experience, or MS with 5+ years, or PhD with 2-5 years; extensive experience in biologics or cell therapy process development; proficient in cell culture (including pluripotent stem cells), bioreactors (stirred tank, Ambr 250, etc.), DOE and statistical analysis, and GMP compliance.
Preferred: experience with 2D/3D stem cell culture, cell processing devices. High-Value:cell therapy, biologics, process development, GMP, bioprocess engineering, cross-functional collaboration. Work Setup:on-site in Boston, MA, with a five-day on-site schedule and ad hoc flexibility; candidate must be enthusiastic about weekend and holiday shifts.
