Beauty Products Production Technician

Procter & Gamble is hiring an Iowa City Beauty Manufacturing Plant Technician to operate and maintain production and packaging equipment for leading beauty brands. In this on-site role, you’ll run and monitor lines, perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance, and complete quality checks while following GMP, safety, and environmental standards. You’ll support changeovers, sanitation, and continuous improvement to maximize line efficiency and product quality. Operate, monitor, and adjust beauty product manufacturing and packaging equipment Perform routine equipment inspections, basic troubleshooting, and minor maintenance Follow detailed batch records, SOPs, and safety, quality, and GMP standards Conduct in-process quality checks and accurately record production data Support changeovers, sanitation, and line startup/shutdown activities Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and operations teams to meet targets Participate in continuous improvement, 5S, and root-cause problem solving Handle raw materials and finished goods per safety and housekeeping standards Equipment operation Mechanical aptitude Basic equipment maintenance cGMP compliance Quality control and inspection Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures Production data entry and documentation Troubleshooting production issues 5S and lean manufacturing basics Handling of chemicals and raw materials Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k OSHA safety training or equivalent cGMP / Good Manufacturing Practices familiarity Manufacturing or industrial safety certification (preferred) Technical or vocational training in industrial technology (preferred)
