P/T Senior Care Attendant- Senior Center

Description: The Part Time Senior Programs Attendant is under the direction of Senior Programs Coordinator. The purpose of this position is to perform various clerical and general office duties.

Examples Of Duties: This is accomplished by providing customer service to Senior participants, maintaining cleanliness of Senior Programs areas, and supporting the Program Coordinator in daily program counts, monetary reconciliation, and close-of-business activities. May perform other related work as required.

Qualifications: High school graduation or its equivalent. Ability to read and write English Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Basic counting and cash handling skills required. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer. Valid Texas Motor Vehicle Operator's Class C License with a good driving record. Food Handlers Permit or ability to obtain within one month of employment. Adult, Child, Infant CPR Certification Oxygen, AED and First Aid Certifications highly preferred. Valid Texas Identification Card or a Valid Texas Class C Drivers' License. Adult, Children, Infant CPR Certified highly preferred but not required.
