CNC Lathe Machinist A confidential manufacturing company is looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist to join their machining team. This is a hands-on CNC machining role for an experienced machinist who enjoys both setup and production. The position involves setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, verticals, or horizontals to produce high-quality components at or above established cycle times and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and adjust CNC lathes and mills with no supervision
- Change tooling and make machine adjustments to hold tolerances
- Load/unload parts and run production cycles
- Read blueprints, job orders, and GD&T specs
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of CNC Lathe Machine Operation experienceCNC lathe and mill experience required
- Skilled in G & M Code understanding with program editing ability
- Setup and tooling changeover experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude
- ScheduleMonday through Friday
- Average work week is 45 hours
- Overtime available
