About the role

Job Description: The Sheet Metal Fabricator supports custom fabrication projects within a small fabrication team. This role interprets basic shop drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, engineering drawings with tolerances, and customer-specific custom layouts while operating press brakes, shears, CNC fabrication equipment, welding equipment, and hand and power tools.
Responsibilities: Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, engineering drawings, and custom layouts. Cut and form sheet metal to specified dimensions and designs. Operate press brakes, shears, CNC fabrication equipment, and related tools. Perform welding and assemble fabricated components. Conduct quality inspections and dimensional measurements. Use hand and power tools to complete custom fabrication work. Follow established safety practices and maintain a safe work area.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication. Blueprint reading and sheet metal fabrication skills. MIG and TIG welding experience. Brake press operation experience. Precision measurement skills. Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Knowledge of safety practices.
