Details Critical Care Float Pool covering multiple ICU environments including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and PCCU Also covers ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every other weekend required Rotating holiday coverage required Floating to a variety of ICUs required Epic EMR experience required for all candidates Requirements Active NY RN license required at time of consideration BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required Level I trauma center experience strongly preferred Previous travel nursing experience required Experience floating across a variety of ICU settings highly desired Must pass a competency test within 24 hours of consideration, with 2 attempts allowed No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Minimum of 1 supervisor or manager reference (charge nurse references not accepted) dated within the past year US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted Medical exemption only accepted for flu vaccine declination (personal or religious exemptions not accepted)
