About the role

Pay Rate: $22.50 an hourESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide administrative services such as preparation, processing, review and distribution of correspondence, meeting minutes, documents, letters, reports, copies, etc. in a professional and confidential mannerAnswer and screen phone calls forwarding them to the appropriate individualsOrganize and maintain office filing system, monitor / order supplies and maintain executive management's calendarsUpdate, maintain and distribute department information such as organization charts, phone list and department emergency contact informationKeep current on Treasure Island administrative systems, industry related office automation and policies and proceduresProvide mailroom support by sorting incoming mail and sending mail outAssist with administrative projects and tasks as assignedFollow up with guests Info search commentsOrder supplies through Great Plains for various business unitsCoordinate computers and files for weekly Council meetings as neededKNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIESKnowledge and CertificationRequired:2 year degree in Business Administration, Communications or related field or 4 years equivalent Administrative Assistant experienceSkillsRequired: Accurate and detail-orientedHighly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesStrong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and WindowsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsProven to accurately type 50 wpmAbilitiesRequired: Ability to work fast and efficientlyAbility to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygieneAbility to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous mannerAbility to independently complete multiple tasks in a professional mannerAbility to serve both internal and external customersAbility to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voiceREQUIRED TRAININGTreasure Island guest service trainingAny position-related training as determined by division directorPHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to sit for long periods of time with occasional amounts of walking and standingMust have the ability to independently lift up to 10+ pounds occasionallyMust be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
