CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring Journeyman HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics in Austin, TX. This is an immediate opportunity for qualified professionals seeking steady work. The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring, cutting, and laying out ductwork, and working with sheet metal using tools such as snips, brakes, shears, plasma cutters, and lifts. The ideal candidate is experienced in installing square and spiral ductwork, interpreting blueprints, and has a background in sheet metal work. Familiarity with HVAC systems and ductboard installation is essential. Bilingual candidates who can speak English and Spanish are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a background check and drug test. An in-person interview is required before starting, along with a drug test, physical exam, OSHA 10 card, and ability to interpret blueprints.
