Material Handler

ABM Industries is hiring a Material Handler to support facility operations across commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial sites. This role is responsible for safely receiving, moving, storing, and delivering materials, supplies, and equipment to keep environments clean, efficient, and well stocked. Duties include loading and unloading deliveries, tracking inventory, staging materials for crews, and maintaining orderly storage areas while following strict safety, lifting, and PPE standards. Safely load, unload, and move materials within client facilities using carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment. Receive, label, and store incoming materials, supplies, and equipment in designated areas. Pick, stage, and deliver materials to work areas to support janitorial, maintenance, and operations teams. Maintain accurate inventory counts, logs, and basic documentation for material movement. Inspect materials for damage, report discrepancies, and follow safety and housekeeping standards. Keep storage and work areas clean, organized, and compliant with ABM safety procedures. Coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet daily workflow and service deadlines. Follow all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety rules, including PPE and lifting guidelines.
