Safety Specialist

THE ROLE: We are seeking a Safety Specialist to join our team and help drive our continued success. This role plays an important part in supporting our customers, strengthening our business, and contributing to the long-term growth of Douglas Dynamics. This role is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the Commercial Snow & Ice (CSI) environmental, health and safety programs, by the following: Create, lead, and document the safety training program following OSHA Guidelines. Maintain accurate and compliant safety policies. Ensure the integration of safety in the launch of new product, acquisition of new equipment, and other operational changes. The role is established due to the need for a dedicated resource to keep WTA compliant with its own policies and processes and to drive the continuous improvement of environmental, health and safety performance and a safety-first culture.
