Certified Surgical Technologist

Prepare and maintain the operating room, equipment, and sterile field, and assist the surgical team during procedures at Mission Hospital. This role requires an associate degree, Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of starting, and Certified Surgical Technologist certification within two years. Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment for procedures. Maintain the sterile field and follow infection-control practices. Assist surgeons and other surgical team members during procedures. Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team as needed. Monitor and maintain surgical instruments and equipment. Follow patient safety and operating room protocols.
