Solder/ Assembly Technician

Location: Pearland, TX Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5 PM Pay Rate:$16.00/hour (with soldering experience) $15.00/hour (with mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn)

We're currently hiring a Solder / Assembly Technician for a manufacturer of welding tools and products located in Pearland, TXThis is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision work, has a strong mechanical mindset, and wants to build a stable career in manufacturing.

Position Summary: The Solder / Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, soldering, and inspecting components used in welding equipment and related products. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and a commitment to consistent attendance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: Perform soldering on small components and assemblies using hand tools and soldering equipment Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to assemble parts accurately Conduct basic quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications Maintain a clean and organized work area Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals Follow all safety protocols and company policies Exhibit reliability and consistent attendance - especially within the first 90 days of employment

Experience: Prior soldering experience preferred Mechanical aptitude required - experience with small tools, assembly, or manufacturing is a plus Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Requirements: Valid driver's license no exceptions Clean background no offenses ever Reliable transportation to and from the worksite Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dependable attendance
