Description: American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation unit, requiring a minimum of 6 months of acute care, SNF, or IP rehab experience. Details Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit in a 42-bed hospital setting Scheduled shifts are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Primary floating assignment is within the IP Rehab unit Weekend availability as part of the 5-day work week is a plus Documentation completed in Meditech Unit utilizes specialized therapy equipment
Requirements:
  • Active FL OT license required if applicable
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Minimum 6 months of recent acute care, SNF, or IP rehab experience required
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills required
Additional Information:
  • Provide 1:1 therapy services to patients
  • Work on a brand new 42-bed IP rehab unit with new equipment
  • Grey scrubs required as part of dress code
  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
  • No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
