Japanese Bilingual Marketing AssistantA well-established global retailer offering a wide selection of literary and lifestyle items with a focus on Japanese and Asian culture is seeking a Marketing Assistant with fluent English and conversational Japanese for its San Francisco office. This position reports to the Marketing Manager and is responsible for creating and coordinating the company's web marketing content through collaboration with internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will be proactive, creative, and comfortable working in both English and Japanese. Strong English communication skills are required, while conversational-level Japanese is welcome.Responsibilities:Prepare promotional plans and create marketing materials in line with the company's online business strategy and upcoming events.Collaborate with internal and external designers to publish marketing content across social media platforms, the company website, and newsletters.Use social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook to engage audiences and promote products and events.Send out marketing email newsletters and edit/update website content.Use the company's CRM system to extract data and support customer segmentation and targeting efforts.Conduct data analysis to improve online marketing performance and identify new promotions, products, and customer targets.Respond to customer inquiries by phone and emails, assist with order placement, and issue invoices.Enter data into the company's system and support other general office duties as needed.Qualifications:Conversational-level Japanese language skills (required)Experience taking and editing photos, with proficiency in Photoshop.Hands-on experience with social media marketing, particularly Instagram and FacebookInterest in Anime, Manga, and Asian pop culture.Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentPrior experience in digital marketing or customer service is a plus.Benefit: Medical/Dental/Vision, Life, Sick Leaves, Vacation, Holidays, 401K and employee discount.
